This will vary depending on the role and location. Facilities Managers in the GTA can expect salaries upwards of $100,000. Commercial Property Managers meanwhile, are paid $100,000 on average across the country, while Building Operators salaries have increased to an average of $65,000 across Canada. 

The average salary for a Residential Property Manager is around $80,000.

All buildings continue to move with the times. So, continued depth in high-skilled tradespeople in both commercial and residential operations are very much in demand. And we work with a large number of Maintenance Technicians and Building Operators. 

The continued view of finding good people is a consistent struggle for all Real Estate clients moving into 2023 and across all Property Management level roles in all asset classes, they are becoming a rather scarce commodity. 

Building Operators with a BES I & II would be a minimum, in addition to a CPM/RPA within Property Management and an FM designation for facilities.
