Your new role
The VP, Construction role is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the highest profile projects in Vancouver, on both the Development and Construction sides of the business. Reporting directly into the SVP, Development, this role is responsible for providing leadership to a high performing team. The primary mandate is to optimize cost and schedule for projects while cultivating a positive and efficient relationship with our construction partner. You will be involved with strategic planning along with your peers in the broader business. This will allow the opportunity to provide input as to how the business evolves over the coming years.

The ideal VP, Construction candidate is a progressive, collaborative and dynamic leader that is passionate about innovation. You love to inspire, motivate and grow a team. You see the potential of how technology can allow projects to run more effectively and you enjoy planning, sharing ideas and analysing data in order to challenge the status quo. We are open to considering candidates from various backgrounds including those coming from General Contractors, Developers and Owners. Exposure to the high rise construction sector is desirable but not essential. The ability to communicate with confidence and clarity at an Executive Board level is required.
