Job Description: Senior ServiceNow Consultant
Location: Calgary AB
Position Type: Long term contract

About the Role As a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Consultant at Client, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that drive operational efficiency. You will provide expert-level guidance on platform strategy, workflow optimization and configuration. Through your deep platform knowledge and commitment to best practices, you will empower the organization to realize the full potential of ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expertise on ServiceNow platform capabilities, implementation strategies, best practices and governance.
  • Design and configure ServiceNow solutions across various modules to address identified requirements.
  • Configure ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and integrations.
  • Perform functional analysis, solution design, and testing for ServiceNow implementations.
  • Create detailed functional specifications and documentation for development teams.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Mentor team members on ServiceNow functionality and configuration.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Functional Consultant with proven experience implementing and managing various ServiceNow modules and major enhancements.
  • Advanced understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities, features, configuration, workflows, business rules, and integration.
  • Hands-on and proficient technical experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB, CSDM, including development and deployment.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in process mapping and workflow design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication styles to technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Skilled in collaborating across diverse teams, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, ensuring continuous enhancement without requiring extensive oversight.
  • Proven ability to self-direct and drive strategic initiatives, leveraging deep ServiceNow expertise, leadership, and analytical thinking to deliver impactful results.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
