Our client is an established and highly regarded General Contractor headquartered out of Surrey BC. The company has established a stellar reputation over the 50+ years they have been operating. They take pride in operating in an ethical and relationship-oriented manner. Employees are highly valued and respected. Consequently, staff turnover is very low, and a close-knit team environment has been established and nurtured.

Projects are undertaken in the institutional and commercial sectors with values ranging from $5m to $80m. These include new-build schools, medical facilities, offices and large-scale TIs.

Your new role

A Senior Site Superintendent is required to lead a new-build school project that is about to commence construction in Chilliwack. The project has a value of $35m and is scheduled to take 22 months to complete. The Superintendent will work closely with an experienced Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent to ensure the project is successfully completed.

What you'll need to succeed

We need an experienced Superintendent that has managed complex ground-up construction projects here in Canada with values over $25m. You should be a proactive person that takes pride in identifying potential issues before they become problems. We require a clear communicator who is organized, relationship-oriented and can motivate and encourage a site team effectively.

What you'll get in return

You will join an established and stable team with very low staff turnover and a positive team environment. You will receive a base salary of $120-150K (commensurate with experience), a generous vehicle allowance or company truck, bonus incentive and a fully covered extended benefits plan.
