• Lead project teams and manage assignments within the overall project framework.
• Coordinate electrical design with external consultants and architects.
• Review engineering calculations, including building heat gain/loss, system friction losses, energy analysis, equipment and material sizing, and project cost estimates.
• Provide direction in the selection of basic equipment and systems.
• Review or prepare contract drawings and technical specifications for submission to clients and city officials.
• Offer follow-up assistance during construction activities and participate in selective site meetings.
• Monitor progress and results through reports, memos, and detailed site surveys.
• Review selective shop drawings and design details for compliance and viability.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings, preferably in the consulting engineering industry.
• Proficiency with WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT.
• Experience with TRACE or eQuest, AutoCAD, and Revit is a plus.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (Ontario Building Code, ASHRAE 90.1 and 62.1, NFPA 96, 13, etc.).
• Superior time management skills to efficiently lead multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients, contractors, peer consultants, and team members.
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, interior designers, project managers, CAD staff, contractors, and inspectors.
