Our client , a large transportation company are looking to hire for a Senior Accountant.

Your new role

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for financial reporting, ensure IFRS compliance, and maintain strong internal controls. This hands-on role involves leading month-end and quarterly close activities, managing account reconciliations, and handling Canadian tax filings. The Senior Accountant will work closely with auditors and tax advisors and drive process improvements. It's a collaborative position requiring strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to financial governance.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role of Senior Accountant, you will need to hold a CPA designation in addition to having more than 3 years of accounting experience. The Senior Accountant is required to have exposure to IFRS and strong experience using SAP.
