Your new company
A leading information sector is looking to onboard Revenue Recognition Analyst on contract basis for 7 months working hybrid in Waterloo location.
Your new role
- Review contracts to ensure revenue recognized in compliance with ASC 606.
- Perform the month-end/quarter-end close activities and reporting related to revenue recognition.
- Prepare GL account reconciliations.
- Participate in SOX testing as needed.
- Prepare audit paperwork and respond to audit inquiries.
- Timely escalation of all unresolved revenue recognition issues.
What you need to succeed
- Accounting related university degree preferred.
- Experience with US GAAP/ASC 606 preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP an asset.
