Your new role

As Superintendent, you will lead the on-site execution of construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient management of crews and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include managing all site activities, contributing to scheduling, interpreting project documents, communicating updates, coordinating subcontractors, overseeing quality control, resolving site issues, ensuring inspections, supervising trades, promoting safety, and ensuring on-time project completion.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary education or relevant certifications are considered an asset (i.e., Civil Engineering, PMP, Construction Management, Red Seal, GSC, etc.) .
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in multi-family and low-rise construction as a Foreman and/or Site Superintendent.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities as well as team leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure both with a team and autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Experience in residential project delivery and contractor management.
  • Current and up-to-date safety certifications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
