Our client is a leading microelectronics manufacturing and engineering firm founded in 1987 specializing in the miniaturization, design and manufacture of custom microelectronic circuits. TASK offers unique electronic packaging design services for the medical, military, avionics, sensor and high-end industrial markets.

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Group. This role supports the purchasing team by assisting in the procurement of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication skills.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Entry-level position; prior experience in a similar role or internship is a plus. Experience working in an office or manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with procurement software is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic understanding of procurement processes or willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with software visuals is an asset.
  • Attributes: Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to team success. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Ability to work independently. Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Languages asked for: Spoken: French and English / Written: French and English are required as all documents provided by our customers are in English since they are located in the USA.
