Your new company

Our client represents a forward-thinking real estate company with a rich history spanning over five decades in British Columbia. More recently, they’ve expanded their operations to Alberta and the western United States. Their core focus lies in owning, developing, and efficiently managing commercial and industrial properties. Their developments are characterized by a commitment to quality, innovation, and functionality. By creating enduring and sustainable spaces, they enhance the vibrancy and permanence of the communities they serve. Notably, this company balances financial success with meaningful contributions to the local areas they operate in.

Your new role

As a Property Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role within the team. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Property Manager by implementing SOPs, managing databases, handling tenant relations and correspondence, creating welcome packages, addressing service requests, coordinating preventative maintenance, overseeing the on-call program, setting up new utilities, organizing tenant appreciation events, and managing insurance information for both tenants and vendors.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for a commercial property management role should have a genuine interest in the field, working knowledge of building maintenance and construction, familiarity with commercial lease agreements (especially using systems like Yardi and Angus), at least three years of experience in a commercial property management support role, strong multitasking and prioritization skills, professional communication abilities, organizational skills, and fluency in common business technology software. Relevant industry education or certification is also considered an asset, along with an interest in ongoing professional development in property management or related fields.

What you'll get in return

In exchange for your commitment to the position, you will be eligible for a comprehensive compensation package of up to $70,000 plus bonuses, profit sharing, an RRSP match, extended health benefits, a health spending account, free parking, a hybrid work schedule, tuition reimbursement, and valuable career development opportunities under excellent mentorship.
