Commercial Property Accountant - Property Management
Your new company
We are working with a well-established commercial real estate firm based in Vancouver who are searching for a Commercial Property Accountant.
Your new role
Take on an initial portfolio of 4 commercial properties
- Monitor and review daily banking transactions; prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual GST reconciliations, fillings and payments
- Prepare annual recovery reconciliations and tenant accounting packages
- Prepare annual property budgets
- Collaborate with property management teams to provide prompt and effective support
- Manage full-cycle accounting for select small entities
- Prepare and distribute rental notices for new leases and lease renewals
- Administer corporate payroll and employee benefits; ensure regulatory compliance and accurate allocation of charges to properties
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2 years' commercial property accounting experience
Corporate accounting and payroll experience would be preferred.
Chinese language skills considered an asset
- Yardi Voyage and Payworks experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
