Your new role

In this role, you will provide essential support to our Managing Partner in handling litigation matters. There is no docket target. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting Legal Documents:
    Prepare pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents related to civil litigation cases.
  • Case Management:
    Assist in managing litigation files, maintaining deadlines, and organizing case materials.
  • Legal Research:
    Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Court Filings:
    File court documents electronically using Caselines and manage court appearances.
  • Client Communication:
    Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 3-8 years of experience as a Litigation Law Clerk, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Legal Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of civil procedure, court rules, and legal terminology.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Meticulous in document preparation and case management.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Player:
    Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

What you'll get in return

Competitive base salary ranging from $60,000-80,000 (depending on years of experience), hybrid remote working for two days per week, 3-4 weeks of vacation and a wonderfully supportive and congenial team to work alongside.
