Your new role

As a Junior Property Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), performing bank reconciliations, and handling GST/QST remittances. You will assist in preparing financial statements and supporting the year-end process. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule with 35 hours per week, no overtime, and the flexibility to work from home two days a week. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and use Yardi Voyager for your accounting tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and GST/QST remittances
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and year-end processes
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
