Your new role
- Overlooking IP networking, displaying your knowledge of the technical concepts of LAN/WAN management and your ability to problem-solve and manage third-party providers.
- Understanding of support concepts (patching, policy) to provide deskside support, as well as working with third parties to provide support.
- Displaying proficiency in Security and Firewall topics, and understanding topics such as network cabling, wifi implementation, and the use of scanning technologies.
- Ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of products through monitoring, testing, and implementing security measures.
- Working with customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Regionally manage the implementation of larger global projects, which typically include other BASF teams as well as third party contributors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in IT Technology, IT engineering, Computer Science or related fields, or commensurate professional experience.
- 5+ years experience managing site infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or facilities with lab environments
- Project experience, as well as experience working with digital teams
- Proficiency in IP Networking (LAN/WAN management), network cabling, Wi-Fi implementation, security/firewall topics and scanning technologies, and support concepts (patching, policy).
- Experience working with customers and experience with third-party resources will be highly valued.
- Experience working in agricultural production sites will be a plus.
