Your new role

As Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and oversee the financial operations of a diverse real estate portfolio in both Canada and the U.S. You will manage accounting processes for U.S. industrial real estate funds, support residential and commercial real estate operations in Montreal, and contribute to the financial oversight of a family investment office. Your responsibilities will include supervising accounting staff, preparing financial statements and tax filings, managing budgets and forecasts, and supporting investor reporting and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting and real estate finance
• Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. tax regulations is a strong advantage.
• Bilingual in French and English
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with Space and Newstar is a plus
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
