• Perform essential accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Oversee payment processing and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements and related documentation.
• Support year-end reporting and audit processes.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance reporting is completed accurately.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Yardi software preferred.
