Your new role

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be working with Lawyers and legal support staff to complete conflict searches, identifying documenting and communicating any potential conflicts to those team members.

To do so, you will be conducting research on websites to obtain information about potential clients' corporate affiliations, reviewing business intake forms and ensuring the firm adheres to the regulatory requirements and internal policies/procedures.
Your standard working hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM EST.

What you'll need to succeed

A strong aptitude for research, reviewing, interpreting and documenting your findings as well as clear communication skills to relay this information to internal stakeholders.

What you'll get in return

A fully remote position, this position can be performed from anywhere in Canada as long as you keep 8:00 AM-4:00 PM EST working hours. Salary ranges from $60,000-75,000, benefits from DAY ONE, RRSP matching starting at 4% and reaching 7%, fitness subsidy of $750 per year, unlimited sick days, 2 personal days, 1 study day. In addition to these incredible perks, the firm offers daily snack at 3pm, and in-lunch office twice per week.
