Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent with hands-on experience in single-family, townhome, or multifamily wood-frame construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing new residential construction projects from groundbreaking to final handover. This role is essential in supporting the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
  • Monitor construction schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation.
  • Support in resolving on-site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
  • Help enforce site safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction, specifically with wood-frame structures.
  • Experience with ground-up construction of single-family homes, townhomes, or multifamily buildings.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and inspection processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
