Your new company has been providing professional architectural services since 1963. With offices located in Surrey and Kelowna BC, they have a significant portfolio of new construction, renovations, additions, upgrades and planning projects. These include numerous civic buildings, post-secondary, and institutional projects ranging up to $50 million in value.

In this role, you will be assisting with design, construction document production, and coordination on a variety of projects. Candidates must present comprehensive and well-rounded qualifications, including experience drafting detailed drawings for all delivery phases, thorough understanding of construction detailing, working drawings and contract administration, sound knowledge of building envelope systems, preferably for institutional projects, well-versed in local building codes and construction methods. The successful candidate will have experience leading small-medium size projects; coordinating consultants and project teams.

The successful candidate for this role will have minimum 5 years experience in an architectural office in Canada, a Degree or diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from an accredited institution. You will have project Coordination/Project Management experience as well as Institutional project experience; K-12 Schools, Post-Secondary, Civic and Healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will have a high level of proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam on a Windows platform as well as experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, Lumion and Enscape would be an asset. You will have solid communication skills for a team-based working environment as well as being self-motivated with an inquisitive technical aptitude and design sense.
