Our client is one of the largest employers in the transportation logistics supply chain industry with excellent benefits and offering a long-term career. They have a job open for Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to repair Trucks in Richmond, BC. All candidates must be licensed Red Seal with a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clear driver’s abstract, with no more than four (4) demerit points, and clear criminal check. This is a straight shift - (Monday – Friday) 1:30pm to 10:00pm (40 hours/week, plus OT eligibility)

Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic will be working on troubleshooting and repairing fleet of trucks, cubical vans and similar. Diagnostics, repair and perform preventive maintenance. You will service and maintain equipment, order parts, maintain records and attend to emergency road service issues.

Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic must ideally have 2 years’ experience on heavy-duty trucks. Good communication skills in English are a MUST. Good computer skills (basic), ability to work in a team environment and independently are a MUST. A clear criminal check and drivers abstract are required. This is a fast-paced environment. The ability to work evening shifts for a long-term is a MUST-have.
