Your new role

  • Managing escalated security incidents in collaboration with Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs).
  • Monitoring logs and reports, interpreting security activity, and developing resolution plans.
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and supporting remediation efforts.
  • Participating in the design and implementation of enterprise security architecture and solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining security documentation including policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Analyzing threat trends and compiling security metrics to inform mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Recommending and deploying new or enhanced security technologies.
  • Maintaining secure configurations across IT systems and staying current with industry trends and threats

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in security systems management, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security operations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies such as endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, IAM, and patch management.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and encryption protocols.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with CyberArk and identity access management platforms is an asset.
  • CISSP or other relevant security certifications are considered an asset.
