Our client, an architecture powerhouse, and a large multidiscipline firm, is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team in Edmonton working with their residential studio. With decades of experience in the industry and multiple award recognitions for sustainability, design, planning & development, this is a special opportunity to make an impact on the built environment.

Your new role

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include: leading project planning and execution across all disciplines, developing detailed work plans, allocating resources, and tracking progress. Managing project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations. Oversee the development and coordination of construction documentation, including drawings and specifications. Maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing concerns and facilitating clear communication among stakeholders. Collaborate with contractors, sub-consultants, and authorities to resolve constructability issues and ensure compliance with building codes and permit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will possess a minimum of 5 years of project work experience (ideally residential construction, wood frame & steel/ concrete) and impressive interpersonal skills. It is essential you have a solid understanding project accounting, strategic development, business development, project management and client management. Being registered with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset but not required.

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will receive a compensation package of $90-105K (dependent on experience) + bonus, RRSP and 3 weeks’ vacation + the week off over Christmas.
