Your new role


As a ServiceNow Developer – Customer Service Management (CSM), you will be a key contributor to the development and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions supporting a major Canadian federal agency. You will work closely with architects, analysts, and platform administrators to design, build, and optimize applications that improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Your work will focus on leveraging both low-code and custom development approaches to meet evolving business needs.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including development, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist – CSM).


Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow CSM, AppEngine, and data management.
  • Familiarity with scripting in Windows environments (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure and with Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with architects and business analysts to estimate user stories, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve application or system issues and recommend performance improvements.
  • Reliability Status needed.
