Your new role

  • Follow the workshop process for the diagnosis, repair, modification and calibration of field instruments, tools and demos from the origin of request to the shipment of the device.
  • Verification of decontamination form for any product returned to workshop
  • Inspection and diagnostic testing of the instruments to verify faults as reported by the customer
  • Ordering of replacement parts from Product Centres and/or replacement of faulty parts from stock
  • Generation and submission of quotes and estimates by the customer regarding the instrument to be repaired through SAP
  • Work with the Repair Coordinator to ensure communication between internal and external customers, thus ensuring quality Customer Service
  • Accurate tracking and timely submission of weekly and monthly time registration.
  • Ensures that repair areas are always a clean, organized and safe place
  • Gathering of required tools and equipment for field service visits
  • Compliance with safety, regulatory and calibration standards such as ISO 17025, cGMP, ISO 9001, WHIMS etc.
  • Proactively follow workshop business process and suggest any possible improvements
  • Provide on-site and phone support to enhance the application and customer support skills
  • Provide support in providing training to colleagues and customers
  • Meet or exceed defined key performance indicators and goals to keep workshop business sustainable
  • Any other duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-secondary technical education in Instrumentation or Process Control
  • Class G driving license
  • Able to learn new tools, software and technologies
  • Self-starter, good communication skills, collaborative, organization skills, customer-focused
  • French is an asset.
  • Any knowledge of SAP or office enterprise software would be an asset.
