Project Controller Officer
Role: Bilingual Project Controller
Working organization: Hybrid (3 days ONSITE)
Contract: ASAP + 7-MONTHS contract

Your New Role
As a seasoned Project Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the delivery of projects through effective monitoring and control practices. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to project managers, guiding them in the use of standardized methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and excellence in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control project finances, including accruals, forecasts, budgets, and invoicing.
- Ensure adherence to monthly financial project management cycles.
- Oversee project delivery tracking, including progress reports and project logs.
- Support project initiation by drafting business plans, financial justifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Analyze project progress and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
- Advise project and program managers on best practices, standards, and tools.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable on change requests and invoicing.
- Facilitate project closure activities, including lessons learned and administrative wrap-up.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience as a project controller.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and document management best practices.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Bilingual in English and French.
Assets:
- PMP Certification.
- Knowledge of PMBOK and other project management methodologies.
