Hays Recruitment has partnered with our client in Calgary, who are presently seeking a Property Manager to join the growing team in Calgary properties.
Your new role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Property Manager / Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations of our property. The ideal candidate will ensure the building is well-maintained, fully occupied, and operating efficiently while providing excellent service to tenants and vendors.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building(s), including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is in good condition and compliant with safety regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Schedule and oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Property Manager, Building Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and relevant laws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium) is a plus.
- Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.
