A well-established and reputable real estate development and construction firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their growing multi-family division. With decades of experience and a strong portfolio of completed communities, this company is known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across Alberta.
Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle of multi-family residential builds—from pre-construction planning through to final delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-family construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project budgets and schedules.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively address potential delays or issues.
- Review and approve progress draws, invoices, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with design teams on value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks
Key Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record managing multi-family residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta building codes and concrete construction practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with LEAN construction methodologies and pull planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
