Network Technicien | 2-YEARS CONTRACT
Role: Network Technician IP/MPLS
Working organization: 40h/week + Hybrid (1 time/week)
Contract: ASAP + 2-years CONTRACT
Location: Montreal
Your New Role
As an IP/MPLS Network Technician, you will be responsible for the design, detailed engineering, and deployment of IP telecommunications equipment in various technical environments, including electrical substations, power plants, and administrative buildings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing deployment architectures for IP/MPLS equipment.
- Conducting site surveys, inspections, and technical reports.
- Developing detailed engineering plans and specifications.
- Defining components, material lists, and procurement sheets.
- Providing technical support during implementation and commissioning.
- Contributing to the drafting of technical standards and guidelines.
- Participating in the approval and acquisition of new equipment.
- Offering support in case of network outages and guiding operational practices.
- Configuring equipment, validating configurations, and overseeing changes.
- Reviewing design activities and signing required technical documents.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Be a member in good standing with the
Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). - Strong knowledge of
IP/MPLS technologies and protocols. - Experience in network engineering, technical design, and project management.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical deliverables and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical skills.
