We are hiring a Data Engineer for a rapidly growing technology company that is transforming how businesses manage and optimize their data processes. This role focuses on building robust scripts and automation tools for sourcing, cleaning, and maintaining catalogue information from various sources. You will design scalable data pipelines, leverage AI tools, and ensure efficient data acquisition, validation, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated scripts for data extraction and processing.
Build scalable ETL pipelines to structure and optimize raw data.
Validate, deduplicate, and enrich catalogue data to ensure integrity.
Utilize AI models for data extraction, classification, and enhancement.
Monitor, debug, and optimize data pipelines for performance.
Work with engineering and product teams to integrate data into internal tools.
Ensure compliance with data collection policies and best practices.

Requirements

Strong experience with JavaScript, Python, SQL, and web scraping frameworks (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).
Proficiency with APIs, JSON, XML, and CSV data formats.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for storage and processing.
Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and automation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.

Bonus Skills

Expertise in web scraping frameworks and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and SEO/data optimization.
