Business Development Manager

Their hands-on approach helps business owners overcome operational hurdles, empowering them to focus on growth.

Your new role
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective clients, assessing their operational challenges and needs.
  • Build and nurture meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs and small business owners.
  • Use a consultative approach to sales, presenting tailored solutions without pushy or aggressive sales tactics.
  • Independently generate and manage leads, and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the CEO in developing strategic marketing materials, sales presentations, and other collateral.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions using Zoho CRM and other sales prospecting tools.
  • Achieve and exceed established performance metrics based on revenue generation and client retention.
  • Regularly report to the CEO, providing strategic insights, progress updates, and recommendations for continuous improvement.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Demonstrated experience and success in sales or business development, ideally within consulting or professional services.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, human resources, and financial management practices to effectively engage clients.
  • Experience working with small businesses and a strong appreciation for the entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for local travel to client sites and occasional office meetings.
