Enterprise Platform Manager - Leading Urban Municipal Entity
Hays are currently partnering with a leading urban municipal entity to seek an Enterprise Platforms Manager to join their progressive Information Technology team. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Enterprise Platforms Manager will drive the strategic planning, execution, and management of our portfolio of enterprise application platforms.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the design and execution of the application platform strategy to support business processes and objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee core municipal systems for Land Management, Planning & Development, Engineering Parks & Environment, Public Safety, Real Estate, and Economic Development, as well as support systems for ERP, People & Culture, IT, Clerks Office, and Marketing and Communications.
- Implementation & Improvement: Execute strategic planning, lead implementation initiatives, and continuously improve solutions to optimize data integrity, application integration, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical guidance in applications, development, configuration, and project/program management.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align applications with business needs, manage vendor relationships, and lead support teams.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends in the applications market, including cloud, platform-as-a-service capabilities, and embedded AI capabilities.
- Team Management: Manage the team responsible for the development, configuration, and integration of technology solutions, including cloud services and software-as-a-service applications.
- Cost Management: Help manage costs and prioritize initiatives with business stakeholders, driving measurable value from early to late stages of initiatives.
- Business Relationship Management: Work closely with stakeholders and business units to ensure client satisfaction.
- Project Management: Lead teams through multiple concurrent projects, managing risk and scope to deliver objectives successfully.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in application platform delivery and managing enterprise projects.
- Proficiency in systems development lifecycle management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (an asset).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage risk and scope in project plans and budgets.
- Strong background in applications, development, configuration, and project/program management.

Benefits
- Salary Range: $119,964 - $141,132 annually
- We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity.
