Your new role
We're on the lookout for passionate Estimators who are eager, love tackling challenges, and want to grow with us. As a Millwrighting Estimator, you will create cost estimates for millwrighting projects and manage them from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and risk management. If you're someone who excels at analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and is committed to building a rewarding career, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities
  • Estimate Costs: Use drawings and specifications to calculate the cost of the project.
  • Plan and Schedule: Create project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage Risks: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safety and quality.
  • Communicate: Keep clients, contractors, and other stakeholders informed.
  • Manage Resources: Allocate resources like equipment, materials, and workforce.
  • Manage Subcontractors: Collaborate with subcontractors and manage their work.
  • Manage Changes: Address any changes to the project scope or schedule.
  • Inspect: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets standards.
  • Document: Maintain accurate records of the project, including plans, permits, and contracts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience estimating and managing millwrighting projects.
  • Experience with construction accounting and job costing.
  • Ability to negotiate successfully.
  • Ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
