Your New Role

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will provide expertise on data quality and governance initiatives, leveraging Microsoft Purview and other industry-leading tools. Your role will involve implementing data governance frameworks, managing metadata, ensuring data lineage, and enhancing data quality solutions to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications in Data Governance or Data Management are a bonus.

• Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, enterprise data platforms, and data architecture.

• Ability to assess, analyze, and optimize complex data environments.
• Experience in developing effective governance strategies to improve data quality, compliance, and security.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

• 5 years of experience or more in data governance with a focus on implementing governance frameworks and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with implementing governance using Microsoft Purview.
• Experience in the development of governance policies and processes for enterprise-level usage.

• Experience in addressing data governance challenges and regulatory requirements in the not-for-profit sector.
