Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing real estate investment and development firm with a diverse portfolio across commercial, industrial, and development assets, is seeking a Vice President of Finance. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic settings and can bring structure, insight, and strategic oversight to the finance function.

Your new role

• Developing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Collaborating with operations, leasing, legal, construction, and development teams to meet financial reporting requirements
• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including year-end processes and audits
• Reviewing and analyzing cash flows, forecasts, and budgets for properties and development projects
• Overseeing payroll and benefits administration
• Providing strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making

What you'll need to succeed

• CPA designation required
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally within real estate or asset-heavy industries
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent critical thinking, operational judgment, and time management abilities
• Bilingual (French/English) preferred
• Experience with Yardi and Hopem is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
