Your new role
You will lead the daily operations and strategic growth of the Transportation group in Saskatchewan. You will oversee project delivery for various infrastructure contracts with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and municipalities. You will provide mentorship and support to engineers, technologists, and field inspectors, fostering team development. You will manage internal coordination, staffing, and quality control across multiple projects to ensure consistent performance. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly with the Ministry of Highways and associated contractors. You will collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning, while contributing to proposal efforts and ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and are eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan. You bring 7–10 years of experience in the Transportation Industry, with a strong background in delivering construction and/or design engineering projects. You are recognized as a 2nd Level Supervisor in one or more categories by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. You possess a strong technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee daily operations while driving strategic growth across business lines. You are skilled at preparing winning proposals, making informed business decisions, reporting data to stakeholders, and maintaining a client-focused approach to ensure satisfaction.
