New Opportunity - Tools Manager (for their DevOps Team) - Tangerine - TORONTO (STC Steeles Technology Campus

REQ: Tools Manager (for their DevOps Team)
START: Immediately - Within 2 – 3 weeks (depends on compliance)
LENGTH: 1 year
LOCATION: Tangerine – TORONTO (STC Steeles Technology Campus and Downtown)
LOCATION OF WORK: Onsite 3-4 days per week

Looking for candidates with strong Enterprise-wide Tools Management (see below) with
leadership experiences. If you can help us with the pre-screening the candidates, it will be a great help.

  • Tool Administration: Installing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining , managing vulnerability for tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQ, CheckMark, BlackDucketc.
  • Access Management: Managing user roles, permissions, and integrations with identity providers (e.g., SSO).
  • Integration and Automation: Ensuring tools are integrated into CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking, and other workflows.
  • Support and Training: Helping engineering teams use the tools effectively, offering support, and creating documentation or training sessions.
  • Tool Evaluation ,
    Business case development & Funding:
    Scan the market for emerging devOps/developer productivity tools , conduct detailed evaluation, and integrate into the existing ecosystem.
  • Licensing and Cost Management:
    Tracking usage, optimizing license costs , negotiation.
  • Governance and Best Practices: Enforcing standards around branching strategies, code reviews, artifact storage, Jira workflows, etc
