Job Type: Contract ( 3 – 4 months)

Your New Company
Our client is seeking a Technical Writer to support software and hardware teams by producing clear, user‑ready documentation and visuals. You’ll work within established standards and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to keep product documentation accurate and consistent.

Your New Role
  • Develop, edit, and create basic content for the documentation of software applications and hardware environments.
  • Utilize templates for standardizing system documentation.
  • Create photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate the material.
  • Conduct research and interview technical and business personnel, read existing user manuals to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.
  • Validate the accuracy of existing documentation.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical assistance to managers and other members of the application development team.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience writing documentation for ERP/CRM COTS product.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
