Our client is a dynamic and growth-oriented organization specializing in high-quality machinery manufacturing and custom metal fabrication with the facility in the Mississauga-Brampton, ON area. They have a strong presence in both domestic and US markets and are committed to innovation and customer satisfaction. As part of their growth and expansion plans, they now have a job open for a Sales Specialist to be based out of Mississauga – Brampton or in the US with the expectation of 30–40% travel to the US. All applicants must be Canadian or US passport holders to facilitate quick travel requirements for this role.

Technical Sales Specialist for Business Development will be responsible for expanding the North American footprint. You will represent the custom solution manufacturer to distributors, attend trade shows and sell directly B2B, products made of stainless steel, metal and similar custom fabrication. This role involves regular domestic and international travel for site visits and trade shows. You will support marketing efforts, and become a technical resource, all while contributing to the sales and revenue.

The Technical Sales Specialist will ideally have 8–10 years’ experience in hard core technical sales selling machinery, equipment, industrial supplies, fasteners, HVAC, boilers, pumps, fasteners or anything similar involving customized engineered metal fabrication, welding and similar. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is an asset. Ability to travel 5–10 days per month to the US is a MUST. A hunger's attitude, sales, self-driven personality with a strong mechanical aptitude are ideal.

Qualified applicants already in the GTA/Toronto/Mississauga/Markham/KW area or similar or are presently living in the US with the ability to be close to an airport and be able to travel with minimal notice to the US, with strong prior experience of selling metal custom-built parts, tooling/dies/industrial supplies, fixtures/boilers/heat exchangers/pressure vessels and similar are highly preferred. All applicants MUST be Canadian passport holders to be able to travel internationally and to the US without visa requirements.
