We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will manage a wood-frame multifamily residential project located in Kamloops that is due to start this Summer.

As Highstreet’s Site Superintendent, you will lead and manage the on-site construction team, and oversee all work on site. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for schedule and budget execution, orderliness on site and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met, scheduling is on track, roadblocks are removed for our trade partners and all equipment and materials are readily available on site.

In order to be suitable for this opportunity we require candidates to have 5+ years experience managing multifamily residential construction projects. We are looking for a highly motivated and self-aware individual who is able to lead by example, coach their team effectively and perpetuate Highstreet’s culture and values. Top candidates will be strong leaders, proactive, organized, great communicators, accountable and perform well under pressure. We view our trade partners as integral to our success and our Site Superintendent will strive to constantly strengthen and build the relationship with our trades.

To ensure success, the project teams shall be working together to complete projects on time and within budget, and never compromise on quality or safety.

In exchange for your hard work and commitment, you will earn a comprehensive compensation package including an attractive base salary of $120-150K, bonus (averages 35% of annual salary) and benefits. We also offer a starting vacation allocation of 4 weeks plus additional day/year up to 5 weeks. You will also have the opportunity to invest in projects and we will match your investment. We feel it is important for our employees to be able to participate in our projects as owners/investors and this has proven to be a very attractive and successful scheme for our employees. Investments are TFSA and RRSP eligible. Relocation assistance will be provided for those moving to the Kamloops region.
