Construction Superintendent – Wood Frame Mid-Rise (4–6 Storeys)

Location: Edmonton
Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 (commensurate with experience)

About the Opportunity: Our client, a well-established construction company with a strong pipeline of residential projects, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of a 4–6-storey wood-frame apartment complex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality multifamily developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff.
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and keep detailed site reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on wood-frame apartment buildings, specifically 4–6-storey mid-rise projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain a productive site environment.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and team collaboration.
