Structural Engineer | Calgary, AB

Join a well established structural engineering consultancy with roots going back to the late 1990s. The team brings decades of combined experience and delivers design and review services across a wide range of building types, including commercial, residential, mixed‑use, municipal, and recreational projects. They operate as a small, collaborative group and is registered to practice in multiple provinces, with a strong track record of producing practical, well executed structural solutions.


Your new role

drawings while coordinating with internal designers and external consultants. Carry out site reviews, structural assessments, and respond to RFI's during construction. Review shop drawings and assist with contract administration duties. Contribute to both preliminary and detailed design phases on a variety of building types. Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and contractors throughout project delivery.


What you'll need to succeed

P.Eng designation in Alberta or eligibility for transfer. Over 5 years of structural engineering experience focused on building systems. Strong background in concrete, steel, and wood structural design. Ability to work independently in a small, hands‑on team environment. Experience with S‑Frame and PCA, or the ability to transition from comparable tools. Revit experience is an asset but not required.
