Your New Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be part of a small, empowered team (3–6 people) reporting to a Development Manager within Corporate & Institutional Banking Technology. You’ll work closely with a dedicated product owner and be responsible for the
end-to-end delivery
of software—from analysis and development to deployment and production support.

This is a
DevOps engineering role, meaning:
  • You build it, you support it.
  • You’ll release code to production frequently—often daily.
  • You’ll participate in a production support rota, which may occasionally include Sundays.
  • You’ll work across the stack, regardless of your specialization, and contribute to all aspects of the product lifecycle.
We don’t do sprints—we believe in
flow: small, low-risk, frequent changes that continuously improve our systems.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in
    Java 8+,
    Spring Framework, and multi-threaded applications.
  • Familiarity with
    MongoDB,
    PostgreSQL,
    GCP (Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine),
    S3,
    Python,
    AI/ML, and
    Parquet
    is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of
    Unix,
    HTTP APIs (RESTful), and infrastructure.
  • Strong testing practices, including
    unit and integration testing
    in automated environments.
  • DevOps Mindset:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
  • Willingness to support production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working outside your comfort zone and pairing with teammates.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ways of Working:
  • Embrace experimentation and learning from failure.
  • Write and share technical blogs or stories.
  • Contribute to risk, control, and governance processes.
