A leading Land, Construction and Development company has an opening for a Senior Treasury Analyst in their Edmonton office.

Your new role

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate and detailed project advance (quantity surveyor) reports.

• Providing insight to the treasury manager on daily cash/banking activities to identify continuous improvements to our processes.
• Supporting a wide range of Treasury-related administrative and operative tasks, contributing to smooth daily operations.
• Assisting in or leading the creation of large financial models and dashboards.
• Verifying the integrity of data sets from a variety of sources.

• Supporting year-end and interim audits.

What you'll need to succeed

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative field.
• Has 7 to 10 years of professional experience in a related field or role.
• Possesses superb attention to detail.
• Can recognize key risks and will question existing tasks/methodologies with a view to improving overall processes, generating efficiencies, and strengthening the existing control environment.

• Is very comfortable with statistical, financial, or computational modelling.
• Holds advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as visualization tools to create effective charts, tables, and graphs.
• Has demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and/or relational databases.
