Your new role
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business and expand existing client relationships.
- Pitch and close deals with prospective clients via phone and in-person meetings.
- Oversee client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition to trading and account management.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on team performance and sales volume.
- Collaborate with other Heads of Desk to implement regional sales programs and training plans.
- Ensure adherence to company-wide sales methodology and administrative processes.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture focused on growth and development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience (minimum 3–5 years) in FX, fintech, or lending sales within a B2B environment.
- A strong network in the Vancouver region and familiarity with local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Background in financial services, with knowledge of cross-border products such as international payments, collections, and cash management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at senior levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt sales techniques based on client feedback and market trends.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Organized, proactive, and passionate about leading teams and driving results.
