Hiring Senior Roaming Service/Maintenance Technician - Property Management & Construction
Your new company
Our client is a leading residential property management and real estate construction firm dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for their residents across a portfolio of both new and existing assets. They pride themselves on maintaining high standards of quality and customer care across a diverse portfolio of residential properties. As a company, they value proactive problem-solving, a commitment to safety, and a collaborative team environment. You'll be joining a team that is not only focused on maintaining properties but also on building lasting relationships with residents and vendors.
Your new role
As a Roaming Maintenance and Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our client's commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring their properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating to the highest standards. Your duties will range from responding to resident requests and emergency calls to conducting preventative maintenance and other service works. A key part of your role will be coordinating with external vendors, managing work orders, and keeping detailed records of your progress. You will act as a key representative for our client, and your professionalism and expertise will directly contribute to the positive experience of their residents.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have at least three years of experience in residential property and construction or a related field. You should be proficient in a variety of light construction and repair tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting. You must be a skilled troubleshooter, capable of working independently and taking initiative to resolve issues. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential, and you must have your own set of basic tools. Experience with the Tarion Warranty program is considered an asset as well. Your success will also depend on your ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members, all while upholding our client's high standards for customer service.
What you'll get in return
In this role, you will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to be a crucial part of a dynamic and growing company. You will have the chance to apply your skills across a diverse range of properties, gaining valuable experience and growing your expertise. You'll be supported by a team that values your contributions and encourages professional development. Our client offers a positive work environment where your dedication to quality work and customer satisfaction will be recognized and rewarded.
