Senior Project Manager for Long Term Care projects in Northern Ontario.

Your new role
Reporting to the VP of Construction, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Design and Construction to join their team. This individual will focus on managing construction projects with budgets of up to $100 million as part of our client's redevelopment program. This position is hybrid and will focus on the construction of projects in the Northern Ontario region, including Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and others towns. The Senior PM will manage changes in project scope, identify potential risk and devises contingency plans while keeping the projects on time and within budget. They will act as a client representative to our client's leadership team and deal with external construction management companies, trades, sub-trades and other stakeholders. Finally, they will be the main individual when it comes to CCDC contracts and providing reports on construction updates.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Senior Project Manager, Design and Construction will have at least 7 years managing large residential, multifamily, and/or long-term care construction projects. They will have worked for a general contractor or a construction management company in the past and be familiar with CCDC contracts. They will be a problem solver and have the ability to work effectively in a variety of stressful situations and challenges. They must be able to communicate clearly with both internal management, external trades and contractors and other stakeholders. Finally, they must be strong in construction methods, the Ontario Building Code, and be able to travel to various sites 1 to 2 times per week.
