Opportunity to join an established GC working on a major project located in South Vancouver.

Your new company

Senior Project Coordinator opportunity at a well-known BC General Contractor. The company undertakes a large amount of varied ICI construction projects. The company has a solid reputation within the industry that has been developed over the course of its 100+ year history. They operate both Special Projects and Major Projects divisions. The Major Projects division of the company undertakes complex projects with values of $50m-.5bn. The company has won many awards for the excellence of their projects.

Your new role

Due to an increasing workload, there is a requirement to add a Senior Project Coordinator to the Major Projects team. You will work closely with a high-performing site-based project team on a large and complex building project located in South Vancouver. Your responsibilities will include project coordination, document and quality control, cost and project control, and subtrade coordination. You will gain varied exposure that will allow for the development of broad skills putting you on a path to becoming a Project Manager in the future.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a University or technical school graduate from a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Ideally, you have with 5+ years’ relevant ICI construction management experience with an established General Contractor. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with strong IT skills, a good work ethic and keenness to learn.
