Bilingual Senior Project Control Officer
Your New Role
As a Portfolio/Program Project Control Officer (PCO), you will be the cornerstone of project governance and financial transparency. You’ll play a dual role—supporting select projects directly while also driving consistency, quality, and governance across the broader portfolio. Your responsibilities will span financial oversight, risk management, reporting, and strategic alignment, ensuring that all initiatives meet organizational goals and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Enforcing adherence to project frameworks, policies, and strategic objectives.
- Promoting best practices through training, coaching, and audits.
- Consolidating and analyzing financial data across portfolio projects.
- Coordinating Year-End Outlook (YEO) submissions with Finance.
- Integrating project inputs into central dashboards and reporting tools.
- Conducting financial variance analysis and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring budgets, prioritizations, and fund transfers.
- Generating executive-level performance and financial reports.
- Maintaining a portfolio-level risk register.
- Supporting development and alignment of the portfolio/program management plan.
- Leading change management processes and impact assessments.
- Liaising with PMO leadership and portfolio owners for prioritization and performance evaluation.
- Tracking key indicators such as project initiation and contract awards.
- Facilitating communication between project PCOs and executive governance.
- Leading implementation of new reporting frameworks like Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Overseeing risk, issue, and change management at the portfolio level.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 10 years of experience on similar experiences
- Proven experience in project/portfolio control or PMO roles within complex environments.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Expertise in project governance, reporting tools, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Familiarity with portfolio management platforms and methodologies (e.g., EVM, SPMC).
- Ability to lead change and drive process improvements across teams.
