Senior Project Manager Infrastructure – Prince George or Remote

Your new role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in IDL’s Infrastructure division, which includes dams, highways, runways, and bridges projects. This will be a 20 day on and 10 day of rotation position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) projects and be adept at handling financials, contracts, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with the Director of Civil and the President, overseeing all aspects of preconstruction from initial pursuit to project execution.

In this role, you will manage MOTI projects from initiation to completion, overseeing project scheduling using MS Project, and be involved preparing and managing project estimates. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and government agencies.

What you'll need to succeed

IDL require a minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience, with proven experience in managing MOTI contracts and projects. Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling, and knowledge of construction costs and budgets are essential. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are a must. A formal education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent construction programs is favourable. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, solutions-oriented leader with high attention to detail.
