Senior Interior Designer (ARIDO & Revit) - Toronto - Hybrid - Commercial Experience

Hays is currently partnered with a notable multidisciplinary firm who are looking to hire a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer with 5–8 years of local experience to join their well-established team. The ideal candidate is ARIDO registered and brings a well-rounded skill set across all phases of interior design, with a preferred emphasis on corporate interiors and FF&E.


This role will initially focus on managing FF&E efforts for a major commercial project, followed by involvement in a variety of project types across sectors, including commercial, workplace, and institutional projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in FF&E design and documentation for major projects
  • Support concept development and material selection
  • Coordinate with consultants and vendors throughout design phases
  • Prepare contract documents and detailed construction drawings
  • Contribute to internal design reviews and client presentations


Qualifications
  • ARIDO Registered (mandatory)
  • 5–8 years of Canadian interior design experience
  • Strong interest and experience in corporate interiors and FF&E
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of design development and technical detailing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow


Compensation:
  • Salary negotiable based on experience, between $90k-$100k
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 3 weeks vacation
  • 10 personal days
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Hybrid work (2-3 days per week in office)
